Located in a portion of the Stewart-Houston Industrial Park, a Select Tennessee Certified Site, Daejin Advanced Materials will be in close proximity to its electric vehicle battery customers and partners in the Southeastern U.S.
The facility will create 83 new jobs over a 5-year period. This new facility will help the company to move forward with manufacturing process trays for electric vehicle batteries. This location will also help the company to be closer to its customers and partners in the southeast part of the country.
The company plans to expand its production to include vacuum-forming, plastic extrusion, plastic injection, and assembly.
The company was founded in 2019 and specializes in the research and development and manufacturing of polymers for the electric vehicle battery industry. It is also a Korean-based Daejin Advanced Materials subsidiary, which employs approximately 1,000 people across Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
